The short version

Racket & Rally is free to read and is funded by affiliate commission. When you click a buy link here and purchase something, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. It costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same as it would be if you had navigated there yourself.

Racket & Rally is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Amazon is currently the only retailer we earn from. If that changes we will say so here before it appears anywhere else on the site.

How the links work

Every product link on this site passes through our own redirect at /go/, which attaches our affiliate tag and forward you to the retailer. That lets us change a destination in one place if a product moves, and it means the outbound link is never a bare tracking URL.

Every earning link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow" and opens in a new tab, and every buy button on the site carries a visible #ad label with a link back to this page.

Why you will not see prices here

We do not publish prices. There is no live price feed connected to this site, and a price quoted from memory or copied at the time of writing goes stale within days — you would plan around a number that is no longer true. So every buy button reads "Check price on Amazon" and takes you to the current listing.

Where we describe a price tier — "listed at $99 by Tennis Warehouse", for example — that figure is quoted from a specific page cited in the sources block at the foot of that page, and it is a date-stamped observation rather than a promise of what you will pay.

What commission does not buy

• Position. No brand or retailer can pay to be ranked first, included, or written about at all.
• Wording. Nobody outside this site reviews a page before it publishes.
• Omission. We name the products that we think suit a reader, including ones that pay us less.

Commission rates differ between products and categories. Where a cheaper option is genuinely the better buy, it ranks first. If you ever see something on this site that looks like the ranking was bought, tell us at janet.hoyo@yahoo.com — that is exactly the feedback we want.

Cookies from affiliate links

Clicking a buy link sets a cookie in your browser from the retailer, which is how they attribute a later purchase to us. That cookie is set by the retailer, not by us, and it is governed by their privacy policy. Our own handling of data is described in our privacy policy.
